Elmore’s Lottery

Skill, Determination, and Commitment

Why we are called Elmore

John Elmore With Lottery Ridden By Jem Mason

An ancestor of Elmore’s Founder and Managing Director, called Mr. John Elmore Esq. was a horse dealer and trainer based in London’s Piccadilly Circus in the 1800’s.  Mr. Elmore owned and trained a horse called Lottery, a tough, game steeplechaser who gained great fame for winning the first Official UK Grand National Horse Race in 1839 at Aintree Race Course, Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The race represents skill, determination and commitment, the same attributes we deliver to our clients and the founding principles of Elmore Insurance Brokers.
